Of course......: It is always possible to have a serious medical issue without any symptoms... that why you're having a colonoscopy! To allow your gastroenterologist to check for any signs of cancer before it becomes advanced and life threatening. High blood pressure and diabetes often don't have symptoms, but both can take a toll on your health and kill you. Early detection and treatment is key to a long life.

Beauty: That's the beauty of tests like a colonoscopy, a mammogram, dental x-rays, dermatologic mole mapping, etc. They are designed to discover incipient (early) problems before they become big ones, become symptomatic. Don't wait until you see, feel, hear, anything, or it hurts, bleeds, smells, grows. If your well trained caring Physician or Dentist recommends diagnostic screening testing, get tested.
