I am a Graves patient. Have done well on low-dose methimazole until recently. Am now hyperthyroid again. What could be the cause? Also, can enlarges thyroid cause problems swallowing and on/off mild hoarseness? Or is there likely a nodule?
I woke a few days ago with pain and swelling on the lower front of neck. I can feel restriction wben swallowing. Could my thyroid nodules be reason?

Scan was done on thyroid 5 yrs ago one nodule said ot was ok no syptoms until a few m o nths ago when swallowing chances of it be cancer now?
