Depression: I commend you for your good judgement, “I won’t act on it” At your age of 33, you possibly have gone through stressors of relationships, marriage, parenting, work and finances which have caused depression and suicidal thoughts. Depression is treatable with good success. Your Life is Precious! Please see a Psychiatrist immediately or go to Emergency Room for Diagnosis and Treatment.

NOT REALLY: So having a thought of suicide here or there may happen but I am not sure I would use the term "normal." It is good that you would not act as thoughts do not hurt you but actions can. I would definitely get into some treatment/therapy. Perhaps you are depressed and need some help with this.
