Go to next ER : Thought of suicide if u have a plan can be very dangerous and require immediate attention by seeking treatment at next er and seeing a psychiatrist for. Medication management and therapy.

Depression: Best advice is to get evaluated for depression. The xanax (alprazolam) would only calm anxiety and would not treat your depression. In fact, it might even mask the symptoms.
