A member asked:

Is it normal to have a higher heart rate during the first month of pregnancy? my testing gear rate is usually in the low 80s but has been hanging around the high 90s since i confirmed i am pregnant. im 5 weeks pregnant?

Heart rate: This is an educational forum. No diagnostic/treatment information is allowed. In general, heart rate typically increases starting 5 weeks and it remains slightly elevated. Typically heart rate is elevated at 15-20 above nonpregnant levels. This answer should not deter you from seeing an obgyn and establishing routine prenatal care. In your case, see obgyn ASAP just to make sure all is well.
