Ouch!: Acetaminophen (Tylenol) it’s probably your Safest choice. Unfortunately the use of Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) Like ibuprofen are not recommended in pregnancy. They can increase the risk of premature closure of the fetal ductus arteriosus and therefore should be avoided; prior to 30 weeks gestation, studies are inconclusive regarding potential embryofetal risks.

Telephone: Best thing yo can do is call your Dentist for an emergency appointment. Sounds like an infected tooth, and the infection must be controlled for your, and your child's, health. You may need antibiotics. You will need hands-on dental treatment. Tylenol may take the edge-off, but follow package directions exactly. DO NOT delay seeing our Dentist.
