Possibly: At times a low grade lymphoma can occupy a single node clinically and not progress in size for many years. Even though the end results would be favorable should this prove to be such a lesion, biopsy is still indicated so that one can predict possible long term outcome and know how to handle the situation should other nodes eventually appear.
