A member asked:

My 5 years old autistic nephew is very aggressive(especially to his 2 yo sister), non verbal and sensory seeker. how effective would tenoten kids be for him ? they have tried a number of homeopathic medicines but nothing helps at all?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very few studies: This medication is an anxiolytic drug and also used for mild depression. It works on the frontal lobes of the brain, so in a child this young who has very primitive development of the frontal lobes, I wouldn't hold out much hope. There is a current study ongoing by the NIH for use in 7-9 year olds with cognitive delays, but not much out there for use in kids with autism. ? if available in US.
