Diet and exercise: You cannot change the structure of your spine but you could lose weight and exercise regularly. The diet is the most effective way to lose weight and it does not mean cutting down on how many times but the quantity and what you eat. You may want to see a nutritionist. When you get up or when the back hurts get on the floor and bend your knees and hip and just rock from side to side to ease pain.
