Imaging: Imaging is required. If your Dr suspects that this is an ectopic pregnancy (outside of the Uterus), then they will send you for an ultrasound to determine where the pregnancy has implanted. Unfortunately if Ectopic pregnancy is confirmed, it will have to be removed surgically in order to prevent serious damage to your internal organs.
