A member asked:

Hi. im maybe 2 weeks pregnant: i experience cramps now and then. how can i test for an ectopic pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

About pregnancies...: Officially, a woman is 2 weeks pregnant around the time of conception, so it is not possible to know she is pregnant at that time. However, if she means 2 weeks after sex/ovulation/conception, then at that later time, a pregnancy test may be positive (that is actually officially 4 weeks pregnant). Home urine pregnancy tests are very accurate by 3 weeks after sex.
