Hi, i recently had a ct scan for pain in my hips, lower back and knees. on the report it says i have minimal calcific artherosclerotic involve of abdominal aorta and iliac arteries. i am 40 is this serious? should i see a specialist?

No, those vascular changes are common findings on CT scan. You do not need to see a specialist for that. To delay the progression of atherosclerotic vascular disease you need to be active, eat healthy diet (low salt, low saturated fat diet), keep BMI less than 25 if possible, and avoid high blood pressure.
