A member asked:

Does severe restenisis of celiac artery need intervention/restenting if it's not causing any symptoms? if sent was blocked completely, wouldn't the collateral arteries (sma, etc) provide enough blood if they are open?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I'm not sure of the existence of strong collateral circulation in your case prior to your stenting procedure or whether you've developed symptoms since the restenosis. Your interventionalist and your vascular surgeon are by far to best answer your question and advise you.
