Calcaneus avulsion fracture from rolled ankle 5 weeks ago. swellings gone, but unless my foot is elevated, goes purple. is this normal? still too painful for weight-bearing. can i wiggle my toes and flex my ankle to promote healing? thank you?

The fracture requires immobilization to heal. Vitamin D and Calcium are often helpful. There may be venous pooling around the injury. Please consult with Orthopedics. They may recommend an imaging study. Rest, keep weight off the affected side.
