Hurt foot 1 week ago. had x-rays. no fractures, severe sprain. can't bear weight. how long will pain/swelling last? how long on crutches? healing time

Depends: On ligamental damage and bruising to resolve. 2-4 weeks. Faster with rest, elevation to reduce swelling, ice early, heat later.
