Surgery: The best thing to do is write a list of your concerns/questions and discuss those concerns/questions to the surgeon who will be performing the procedure. Try to discuss those concerns/questions days prior to the procedure. On average for the average person, laparoscopic surgery is advantageous. Why? Quicker recovery, less pain, smaller incisions. Also, it reduces the risk of ovarian cancer.

Tubal surgery : Tubal surgery is a fairly uncomplicated procedure. You can discuss any unique situations you have with your surgeon. Most patients are able to leave the facility in less than an one hour after completion of the procedure. Most do not take medication for more than a few days for pain control.
