Post nasal drip: Chronic coughs are most commonly due to post nasal drip which happens when a person has subclinical or undiagnosed sinusitis. This drip can irritate the opening of your wind pipe and cause occasional coughing. Start with Saline Nasal Washes to clear the mucus and debris that may be obstructing the drainage from your sinuses. See a Dr if this does not help for alternative treatment.
