Miscarriage ?'s: At "11 weeks" of pregnancy (documented by Ultrasound) it is unusual to miscarry. Ask your OB physician for a quantitative HCG or another ultrasound to make sure your pregnancy is doing well. If the tests are OK, your OB may start you on progesterone, as the placenta may not make quite enough when the ovary stops, leading to the brown discharge.
