A massive floater appear in my line of vision, in the right eye. it shifted into a large, red splotch for some time before it began to lighten. it is hard to see through that eye and it looks like i am looking through water. i am also diabetic. help?

Need dilated exam: Especially being a diabetic, your symptoms are consistent with blood in the eye (vitreous hemorrhage). If so, you may have advanced diabetic retinal/macular disease. The sooner you seek care from a retinal specialist the better your prognosis. Proliferation Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) is potentially blinding.
