A 36-year-old female asked:
I've been on an 81mg asprin as per my doctor during my pregnancy. i've just did an amniocentesis yesterday and i'm wondering if taking asprin puts me at an even more risk of miscarrying after the test? can i continue taking asprin after the test?

Low dose aspirin.: I'm not sure why a young woman needs dAily low dose aspirin. Is it for primary or secondary prevention? Your important question has to be answered by your obstetrician. Apparently you weren't instructed to hold the aspirin before the procedure to minimize bleeding during or after the procedure, so it must not have been considered a high risk for bleeding.
