Check your diet: Agree with Dr Kratzberg. You also may want to review your diet and eliminate (1 at a time) acidy and spicy foods or dairy or high sugar foods or chewing gum, to see if a 1-2 week trial without those things helps. Stress can also trigger excess acid, so see if there are extra stressors in your life during those times. Keep a food, exercise, and stress log to help with this.
