Burning sensation: If there's no rash, it appears that the superficial nerves in that area are irritable and/or slightly inflamed. Watch for a rash which may indicate shingles which would be treated by a physician or dermatologist. If no rash and burning sensation persists, consult a neurologist for evaluation for multiple sclerosis especially if other neurological symptoms develop.Hopefully your symptom will clear.
