A doctor has provided 1 answer

Alk Phos is a Liver : Alkaline phosphatase(Alk-Phos) is one of the liver enzymes but it can also rise in bone disorders. Many liver disorders such as chronic hepatitis, Cirrhosis, Fatty liver any tumors of the liver can cause a rise. I would suggest that you check your liver Function profile and note if other liver enzymes(SGOT/SGPT) are also elevated. Drinking alcohol regularly, can cause liver damage, so stop or cut
