A member asked:

I hit my head. i would not consider it a big hit, but i moved my head fast a little. the next day (today) i noticed a slight pressure feeling in my head, and it is stronger now. can this be a concussion if i dont have more symptoms?

Go to ER: You should see a Dr. There should not be an increased feeling of pressure in your head. Besides concussions, brain injury can cause pooling of blood within the various areas of the brain. This becomes a medical emergency when the pressure begins to put pressure on the brain itself and circulation becomes compromised. The Dr may choose to watch you carefully or do a CT scan.

Need more info: If you did not lose consciousness, you may just watch and wait. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
