Hi my husband has just start 2 days ago his tuberculosis and hiv treatment with a cd4 count of 44 he was very weak, my concern is that he is confused saying somethings that don't make sense, is that the treatment making him like that. very stressed?

Treat infections: His immune system is weak and he is prone to infection . Treat infections, reduce stress by eating well and exercise. Watch for signs of breathing difficulty, vomiting and pain. If he is confused, a brain MRI may be indicated to rule out inflammation. Provide fluids and follow up with your physician.
