Hi,i was diagnosed 4years ago with hiv and my cd4 was 18 and i have been on treatment ever since and i have been taking tests every six months but this july i was told that i am resistant on treatment,how is that possible and why only now? thanks

Second opinion: Multiple new and effective therapies a currently avaialble for treatment of HIV with low CD4 couts. I find it improbable that dual or triple therapy would not be effective. Get a second infectious disease consulation.
