No need: Womb Scraping (or D & C) is typically done by a gynecologist. General Practitioners usually do not do this procedure since it involves sedation and specific tools. This procedure is typically done when there is an incomplete miscarriage/abortion. Risks include perforation of the uterus, damage to cervix, scar tissue on the uterine wall and infection. It should not be done as a prep for pregnancy.
