Not necessarily: Before pregnancy occurs, you must be evaluated with regard to removing the septum between the two uterine walls. A "double" uterus usually is a single which has not completely separated during embryonic development. Removal of this septum prevents placental implantation on a wall which may have severe limitations in being able to nourish the placenta, resulting in IUGR and possible miscarriage
