A member asked:

Outside all day in sun and forehead thermometer shows 99.4. oral thermometer shows 98.0. which measurement is more accurate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Temperatures: Since a forehead temperature is usually lower than an oral temperature and a forehead thermometer is considered more accurate, I would consider you to have a low grade fever unless you took your temperature while under the sun in which case the reading is unreliable.
