Delayed period: Neither Bacterial vaginosis nor metronidazole should cause delays in one's period. However it could be delayed due weight gain or loss, alcohol use, eating disorders, marked emotional stress, over-exericse, etc. I would not be worried if this corrects by next period. Not pregnant?
