Opthalmologist: I recommend getting an examination by an ophthalmologist. AVM is one of the causes of this symptom. You may be referred to a neurologist after the eye examination or the ophthalmologist may order the appropriate tests.

Twice over the last few weeks, As I rush to go to the bathroom and sit I noticed my pulse in my eyes. I'm terrified cause I read it could be AVM in my brain.I did have a regular MRI a few years ago with no dye,would it have caught it if I did have it?
