I just started walking two miles yesterday and my blood pressure was 160 over 96 pulse 102 after an hour i finished why is that?

?Normal: Right after exercise your heart rate and blood pressure will go up.. That is a normal response to meet the demand of blood and oxygen. After 10 minutes rest, make sure the BP is normal and if not so, need to see your md.

Reconditioning?: Heart rate recovery after exercise is a sign of fitness. The more fit you are the quicker your recovery provided you are adequately hydrated.
