Herpes recurs: Unfortunately, at this time, there is no cure for Herpes. There are medications to lessen the symptoms; you should speak to your doctor about those, which are taken at the beginning of the first symptom (often a tingling feeling), often before you can see a sore. Avoidance of sun/use of sunscreen may help also. There is no way to know how often it will occur.
