Lip injury: It will be important to have a doctor see your injury to determine where it is located, how extensive it is and is it secondarily infected and require medical therapy. Fortunately, the lip and face have great blood supply and heal quickly if treated. Since the injury happened a few days ago, stitches to repair might not be done. Just have a provider take a look as soon as you can.

Overdue: Please, you are overdue to have your wound addressed. If lip torn on the inside, please see an Oral Surgeon. If torn on the outside, please see a Plastic Surgeon. As you have discovered, mouthwash and sprays should never be used on an open wound as can cause further damage. Yes, you may need appropriate antibiotic coverage in addition to hands-on treatment.
