Be seen ASAP: If the root canal is exposed to saliva, studies have shown it only takes 24 hours for the seal to be lost and possible reinfection to occur. Go see your dentist asap to make sure the root canal is protected.

No: You will not notice it but mouth bacteria are re- infecting things as we speak. Also do not bite w that tooth, to prevent fracturing. See your dentist, asap.
