A member asked:

With multiple myeloma, how long will it take chemo to get rid of a tumor the size of a "golf ball".

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Regimen dependant: Depends upon the regimen chosen by your oncologist. Recent responses from chemotherapy have been excellent with the newer agents. Golf ball sized tumors if responsive to therapy have shrunk as soon as 1-2 months on therapy. What also is very important is how long we can achieve remission and keep the disease under control. Good luck.
