Honey is fine: But I do not know what is mel life honey. Is it different than regular honey? Money is harmless other than the excess of sugar that it contains, so go slow with it.

Watch out sugar: In general it is okay. But she needs to watch out her blood sugar- as steroid is usually given along with thalidomide. Steroid can increase blood sugar and so can honey. It could be problematic if she is diabetic. So , watch out the blood sugar.
