Is taking atorvastatin 5 mg every other day for a borderline high ldl patient effective for reducing ldl or it is a low dose and will not work vert well?

There are alternatives to taking statin medication, such as diet modification and exercise. It would be useful to talk to the doctor who prescribed atorvastatin as s/he knows more about your health.
