I have been on lipitor (atorvastatin) for quite some time now always had very good readings however recent readings are very low my ldl-0.59, hdl 81 weird?

No weird : Your high HDL is excellent, and likely protective. Your LDL is lower than recommended by even the strictest guidelines. There are cases however, where we intentionally push the LDL to low levels like yours, in patients that are at high risk. Discuss your personal situation with your doctor.
