Been experiencing mucus in the throat and nasal congestion constantly for a couple years. flonase doesnt help,ive had antibiotics a couple times to help. ive seen an ent once, and he recommended sinuplasty. howwould that help? whatcanido about this?

Saline nasal washes: The first and most important thing you can do is to do saline nasal washes daily. This removes bacteria and flushes out the mucus that accumulates as well as soothes the inflammation in your nasal passages. Sinuplasty should be a last resort as the complication rate is very high.

U need 2 c allergist: Given your long history you need to be evaluated by an allergist, it nay be something in your surroundings causing such, or another problem, an allergist would go through the history with, may perform some tests in the office or a lab, may order an x-ray / CT scan,if not already done. treatment will depend upon all the data gathered,meanwhile,proper/regular use of saline washes/flonase would help
