A member asked:

I got a blood panel done and i was tested for a high white blood count and then they did another panel and i tested positive for autoimmune i was just wondering what autoimmune you thought that could be?

Some basics: Auto-immune is a broad label for numerous conditions that range from rheumatoid arthritis to forms of liver or heart disease, multiple sclerosis, celiac disease and many others. When you post on this site, failure to provide information on your specific condition makes providing any speculation on a label impossible.

Not enough: Information to comment or even speculate. All details matter from physical exam, symptoms and detailed history to actual tests and details. Best view and reference is your ordering physician who will be able to go over a differential diagnosis and coordinate referral to specialist as needed.
