I had mono three years ago. now i am having an ana and asma blood test done for u autoimmune. is it possible to get a false positive from having mono in the past or is that only if i am currently infected with mono?

Acute mononucleosis can induce positive ANA test transiently. In addition, 15-35% of normal person may test positive for ANA, usually in low titer.
