Switched from byetta to bydureon (exenatide) 5 weeks ago. having water retention, bloating, tiredness and high blood sugars. wt gain 4 lbs. is this autoimmune.

No: Bydureon (exenatide) lasts a week instead of 12 hours like byetta. That means it takes 3-6 weeks to get into your system and equilibrate before you'll see it's full potential and action. Not autoimmune. Give it time to work.
