Hi my 12 year old daughter has severe headaches and been vomiting for the last 4 days. we have treated her at home with valois and anti inflammatory meds. do you think she needs to be tested for covid 19 she is showing no other symptoms?

Evaluation: Please encourage fluids, monitor her temperature and see a physician. Watch for signs of of lethargy, imbalance and vision problems. Evaluation soon as possible.

Emergency room: The combination of severe headaches and nausea and vomiting can be a sign of a medical emergency such as meningitis or brain abscess or encephalitis. Anybody with these symptoms should seek immediate emergency evaluation at the emergency room! Or could even be a bleed into the brain these are all possible life-threatening conditions !
