I would like to know if its better to deliver at a hospital or or birthing center especially during this pandemic also, is there a limit as to how far along you should be before you can book a bed and preauthorize child birth?

Some basics: Having attended or been called to thousands of births over decades i have my personal opinion.Occasionally what was thought to be a routine birth turned into an emergency requiring a c-section or prolonged infant resuscitation.Thankfully our birthing center is in a hospital with surgical suites always on standby. Any limit would be a local issue determined by the facilities/people involved.
