Delivery/coronavirus: The policies as it regards to delivery in spite of pandemic is ongoing. As a result, visitor policies and concerns about being in hospitals, potentially near COVID-19 patients, some patients are switching at the last minute to home births. Others have dropped their doulas in favor of having their partner/husband in the room. All hospitals are applying universal precautions to protect all patients

COVID: Generally, yes. Although some women have elected for home births due to infection concerns. Some hospitals that had not allowed attendance of doulas or partners have since reversed this policy. However, visitors are still quite restricted at many facilities. Some facilities may have elevators or entrances reserved just for pregnant or non-covid patients. Pregnant women are being tested at many f
