Sleep: Lack of adequate sleep and/or poor quality of sleep may also be affecting your weight gain. Hormones produced only at night during sleep can affect younger people's growth but also affect the body's ability to have proper weight control and metabolism. This may also be related to depression and/or anxiety, adding to poor sleep.
