I have picked up alot of weight over a very short period of time which is unusual for my body. i have been for blood tests and my thyroid/glucose, etc is all clear. i have also dewormed as a precaution. could it be related to anxiety/depression?

Yes: Anxiety & depression often fuel over eating. If you sense these are issues you should seek out a life coach/therapist who can help you explore the issue & teach you the skill set needed to move past them.

Sleep: Lack of adequate sleep and/or poor quality of sleep may also be affecting your weight gain. Hormones produced only at night during sleep can affect younger people's growth but also affect the body's ability to have proper weight control and metabolism. This may also be related to depression and/or anxiety, adding to poor sleep.
