See Below: If you had sex since your last period and a home pregnancy test was positive, you do not need a blood test to diagnose pregnancy. However, for the sake of your and your baby's health, you should be under the care of a doctor, preferably an obstetrician. Take prenatal vitamins, available at your pharmacy. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!

Yes: Your GP will make a referral to a Gynae who will follow you through your pregnancy and order tests based on current guidelines and specifics of your case.
