Is there a way i can get a different antibiotic to treat my acute sinusitis? i was prescribed augmentin, apparently i cannot take it. i am having side effects such as diarrhea and awful upset stomach.

Sinusitis for 1 month. 10 days Augmentin did not work. Now on Doxycycline for 5/10 and still not helping. CT scan shows sinusitis. Cannot breathe, just started Flonase, washes, steam. What next? Does it take more antibiotics? Stronger?
If is it common and safe for heart to take Clarithomycin for a sinusitis 10 - 14 days (2x 500 mg)? Clarithomycin is only antibiotic (Levoxa and Augmentin doesn't) which help me but after 6 days of taking I have still sometimes pain (exercises etc.).
