Did cbc test a couple of days ago and got the results today. everything, according to the test is within reference range except for one thing which is lymphocytes absolute count mine is 3.47 x10/l. is this normal? also says platelets are normal.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if you do not have any symptoms the finding is not an urgent issue and you may wait to consult your doctor. Wish you good health!

My recent lab work noted a few atypical lymphocytes. My platelet count was low (116), but has been since my youth and mother has the same issue. My doctor was not concerned at all by the notation because entire CBC panel in normal range.Concerning?
CRP negative. I did my cbc and it stated absolute lymphocyte count is 3.54 and platelet count 452 rest all was normal. I repeated my cbc where absolute lymphocyte count reduced to 3.17 but my platelet count has increased to 466?
